Must-Have Skills:
- US CPA designation or successful completion of the CPA exam.
- 2–4 years of US tax experience, including preparation, review, and examination of corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns.
- Current work experience at a CPA firm in the United States.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising tax staff.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity at the Atlanta office.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Performs technical tax reviews and governmental tax examinations as directed by the Manager and Senior Manager.
- Prepares federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filings.
- Acts as a resource for tax associates and Business Assurance team members on specific tax issues and questions.
- Ensures all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of the firm’s philosophy and its positions on tax matters.
- Communicates effectively with clients and meets critical deadlines.
- Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts.
- Assists the Business Assurance (Audit) Department with larger clients when necessary.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience preparing corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns in a public accounting firm.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience supervising and directing the work of tax preparers.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required; a master’s degree in taxation is preferred.
- Current CPA license is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Proficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or other tax automation/workflow software is preferred.
- Client-service oriented.
- Team player with creative problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
